You might be surprised to hear that you are your child's most important music teacher right now-and it doesn't matter if you think of yourself as a great singer and dancer or not! Young children develop dispositions for certain behaviors including singing and dancing by observing and imitating their loved ones. Just by participating enthusiastically in class and doing the music activities at home, you will give your child the modeling they need to become music lovers!

Your Child's Role

At Music Together^®, your child is never expected to sit or conform to an adult's idea of participation. Children learn differently from adults. They learn through observations and interactions with adults and older children and through imitation, play and movement. Each child responds in their own individual way, and at Music Together we let them explore in whatever way comes naturally to them.
